Public Notice: Invitation for Third-Party Comments

Naples College of Osteopathic Medicine (Naples COM) invites third-party comments regarding the quality of its proposed osteopathic medical education program in connection with its upcoming accreditation review and anticipated site visit by the American Osteopathic Association’s Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA).

Naples COM received Candidate status from COCA at its August 2026 meeting and plans to submit its application for Pre-Accreditation for review at COCA’s December 2026 meeting. At that meeting, COCA will determine whether to authorize a site visit, anticipated for early 2027. A site visit has not yet been scheduled. This notice will be updated when COCA confirms the visit dates.

Interested third parties are invited to submit written comments directly to COCA concerning Naples COM’s proposed educational program and its compliance with COCA accreditation standards.
